Xbox Live Games with Gold - August
Its time for another look at what you get with your Xbox live membership. This time in August there is a couple fo free games for both the Xbox One and the Xbox 360 as well as discounts on games and DLC's in the Xbox Store. As always these games are only available for a limited window so make sure that you get yours straight away.
So this month the free games for the Xbox one are Crimson Dragon and Strike Suit Zero : Directors Cut. For the Xbox 360 you will be getting Motocross Madness and Dishonored.
Discounts are also available on Call of Duty Ghosts, Rock band 3 and more.
So lets take a little look at the games that you are getting for free from your Live membership.
Crimson Dragon : Xbox One
Available August 1st-31st
Take to the skies and fight off the monsters while riding your mystical beast. Sounds good really doesn't it, and that is basically what is behind Crimson Dragon. It was initially a launch title for the Xbox One but little was heard of it at the time. The game has received mediocre ratings from most of the major game reviewers around the net and mainly because it has a bit of a repetitive nature to it. In order to progress you have to revisit several areas of the game that you have already been. On the plus side Crimson dragon could be a bit of fun to play for a bit at a time and at a price of exactly zero pounds and zero pence its certainly worth the time to download and have a look at. After reading the many reviews online it seems that those who were prepared to stick with it through the repetitive early levels got the most rewarding play from the game. So stick with it you might just find a gem here.

Strike Suit Zero - Directors cut : Xbox One
Available August 1st-31st
Strike Suit Zero is a third person space flight shooter which puts you in the heart of a galactic battle to save the earth, yes I know this is not a particularly new plot but that aside the gameplay is rather good. If your into dog fighting games or even general Sci-fi then I think Strike Suit Zero will give you a decent game to play. It has its holes with one of the main concerns being the story line is not as in depth or as interesting as you may like, but like I say if your into the dog fighting games or sci-fi shooters then Strike Suit Zero will have enough to keep you entertained. If you don't like these types of games then there will be nothing here for you and best to stay away as the gameplay is the only real draw here.

Motocross Madness : Xbox 360
Available August 1st-15th
Xbox 360 gamers get to tool around the dirt tracks and mud pits of their imaginations with Motocross Madness, an off-road motorcycle racing game. Racing against the clock (or other racers) is just a small part of this one, as you’ll be able to perform tricks, run through obstacle courses, or just motor around big maps and explore as you please. Asynchronous multiplayer via social networks means you can involve your friends, even if they’re off doing something else while you’re playing. Or you can challenge them head to head over Xbox live where up to 8 people can race together. also Motocross Madness uses your avatar so you can see yourself racing on the trial bikes, just great fun.
Dishonored : Xbox 360
Available August 16th-31st
You play Corvo, erstwhile bodyguard of the Empress, turned assassin. Your job is to protect the princess, take out the bad guys who are trying to take over the Empire, and do it all undetected. You have an arsenal of gadgets, weapons, and magical powers to help you, but the most important is your own brain. Challenges in Dishonored often have multiple solutions, so lateral thinking is more important than a quick trigger finger. You can blast your way through, too, to be sure – there’s something for everyone here – but cleverness is rewarded more than aggression. Out of the 4 games given away this month with your Xbox Live subscription, this is our favourite and the one we recommend not missing out on, so download now and enjoy your free games.
