Spotify disables download purchases in UK
Spotify has today decided to end its service of selling digital tracks through its service in the UK. The streaming service remains online and fully functional, the reasons behind this move are unclear although the official line from Spotify is that they are "simplifying their service" Any unused download credits or gift cards will still be accepted but no more will be sold.
More information if we get any, but it seems from the outside that spotify were not getting enough sales to make the service worth while as this is a very competative market. The streaming service looks like being the way forward for Spotify.
