The Logitech MX700 cordless optical mouse is a very comfortable mouse to have on your desktop, it fits your hands very nicely indeed. Besides this it has one of the best responses for a cordless mouse around. It tracks even small movements great for drawing applications etc.

The MX 700 also has a number of great features. The first is its rechargeable ability. Unlike many other cordless mice the Logitech cordless MX700 come complete with 2 rechargeable batteries and a mouse stand that also acts a battery charger and is also the base receiver for the wireless mouse. So no need to clutter up your desk. The batteries will be fully charged after only 2 hours of charging.

The MX 700 also features Cruise Control scrolling. With this system you can easily scroll through long documents or website pages without having to keep scrolling the mouse wheel. These buttons are found at the front and back of the mouse wheel. With this feature enabled you can set the mouse wheel to a greater accuracy and use it for line by line scrolling.

Like the Microsoft mice the MX700 comes with 2 thumb buttons which can be programmed for various tasks and is defaulted to forward and back commands in your internet browser. Also a button is provided to switch between open documents and applications with speed.

The receiver has a range of up to 6 feet even on cluttered desks so you should be able to be free with your mouse without going out of range or getting tangled up in all those horrid wires. Overall a good multipurpose mouse and another way to reduce the amount of wires running all over your desk.
