HP Officejet PSC 2175
The all in one printer is becoming the peripheral of choice for most
homes and offices alike. This is mainly due to the low cost of these
machines and the multi functionality of having a printer, photo copier
and a scanner all in one package. Not only does a multi function device
such as the HP Officejet PSC 2175 provide this cost saving but it also
saves on very precious desk space. Add to all this the fact that
Officejet PSC 2175 is a photo quality printer and also has the ability
to print photo's directly from your digital camera's memory card and you
have a great little machine. You don't even have to switch the PC on to
print great pictures from your digital camera. Also the photocopying
function is independent from the PC and doesn't require your PC to be
booted up in order for it work.

Printing
The printer can produce
high quality prints in both black and colour as well as the ability to
have a 4800x1200 optimised dpi when printing photo's on premium photo
paper. This feature requires software and can only be used when printing
from the computer. You cannot use this feature when printing directly
from the memory card without the PC switch on.

Copying
The copier works like
any other that you would find in a small office. It is independent of
the PC so you can use it away from the PC or simply use it without the
need to boot up the PC. The copier smart software
features fit-to-page, reduce/enlarge, poster, many-on-a-page, iron-on
transfer, text/photo/mixed enhancements to give the photocopying
function even more than some standalone copiers.
