Printing

The CX6400 can create great quality prints in black, colour and in photo quality. It can also be switched to economy mode and produce prints at anything up to 22pages per minute. Using DURABrite ink from Epson you can guarantee stunning photos and documents where the colour really stands out at you also making it waterproof and smudge proof to prevent those little accidents from ruing your photo prints. Plus the great cost saving feature of having separate colour cartridges means no waste, you only have to replace the colour that runs out.

The CX 6400 has the ability to print photo's directly from your digital camera's memory card. This allows you to quickly and easily get that photo you want in your hand from your camera in minutes. That certainly beats the one hour service on the high street for normal prints. The borderfree option gives you great A4 prints with no border full maximum size prints and no cutting required before framing.

Copying

The Epson CX6400 can produce black and white and colour copies. The copier does not need the PC to function so you can produce great copies without having to boot up your PC. Perfect when you just need a quick copy such as a map or directions when you don't have time to print as normal.

Scanning

The scanner can reach a maximum resolution of 1200x2400 dpi and is capable of scanning glossy photo's to add to your digital collection. You can also have pages pf text transferred into a text document using the superb OCR (Optical Character Recognition). This technology takes a page of printed text from a book or other printed document and scans it for the letters, then it can re-write it as a text document for you which you can alter e-mail or save or anything else you would be able to do with a standard text document.

Makes digital photography even easier
Printing directly from a memory card - without even using a computer – is the simplest way to great photos. Just insert your memory card into the integrated slot on the front of the printer, then print out an index sheet with thumbnails of all your images. Simply tick the chosen image or images, scan the index sheet and the EPSON Stylus CX6400 will detect the selected images and produce a superb photo print. You can even adjust the image settings via the front control panel.

Borderfree prints up to A4 size

Flexible, cost effective ink system
There’s no more ink wastage because each of the four colours is contained in its own cartridge, so you only need to change the ink that runs out. Also, if the level in a cartridge is too low for an upcoming print job, you can exchange it for a new one – then you can replace the original later. Thanks to a special self-sealing system, the ink will be as good as new, and the Status Monitor will recognise and report the new level.
