Making money from opinions is exactly what it says. Companies pay you for providing your information and opinions of products you have used, places you have been and films you have seen etc. Its as simple as that. They get money from people reading you opinions because there will be adverts on the same page. So they pay you to provide the content for their site. These sites pay the good writers with the best information a decent amount of money. between the 3 sites here that I use I can earn up to ?75 a month and that's not being totally dedicated to using them every day. If you wanted to you could really make lots of opinions about everything you have used every film you have watched etc. And as long as the opinions had a decent amount of quality content you will find yourself with a decent amount of money. Its also worth signing up your friends because you get money for signing them up as well and in some cases you also get a percentage of there earnings.

Again just like the others these sites do not ask you for any money. Its a totally no-risk scenario. So well worth checking out. You don't have to visit every day in fact if you don't like it then you just don't go back its as simple as that.

The system is a bit of a cross between Dooyoo and Epinions. It has the trusting in terms of Dooyoo such as they provide a link to the reviewers which you trust. You can add reviewers that you like to the circle of trust, which basically puts their reviews at the top of the lists that you see. Getting into people's circle of trust by write haigh quality reviews will help boost your earnings.

The best thing that CIAO has inherited from Epinions is the Income share. Its called the CIAO premium fund. All this means is the opinions that CIAO class as the premium out of the lot will receive extra financial credit. CIAO Has certainly improved a lot since its early days. The amount of members have increased significantly.

Good points on Dooyoo are the pay rate and the pay options. 3p per member read is about the best you will get with the amount of members that Dooyoo have.. There are plenty of ways to claim your money as well. You can have it sent to you in the form of a cheque or as vouchers for various high street stores. You can have it donated to charity, you can have it converted to Ipoints in case you use the Ipoints scheme.

Being in the UK does have its advantages though because I got my cheque's within 5 days of request (the site states 10 days) you normally have to wait quite a few weeks for cheque's that come from the US.

Epinions is easily the best way to make money online. For simply writing a few good quality pieces of information and viewpoints about anything you choose, you can get yourself a decent little income. There is a very good system at Epinions where the reviews get rated by other reviews and the best reviews get to the top of the list and hence read more often than the other reviews. When you are reading reviews in order to get some information on things you don't know about or want an opinion on yourself, the reviews that appear at the top of your list will be the ones that are from the people in your web of trust.

Web of Trust

the web of trust is basically the people that you have indicated that give good quality opinions and you will trust them as a reviewer. What this basically boils down to is that the people who are in your web of trust will have their reviews displayed near the top of the list when you are browsing through. Trusting somebody is very beneficial to them. You should trust as many people as you think write good opinions. This is also a good way to get yourself noticed around the site. You can also distrust people. If you distrust people their opinions will not show up at all on your screen until you decide that you no long distrust them. 

Advisors

The Advisors are people in each little category that are selected by Epinions on a monthly basis. Epinions classes these people as the best and most active users in the category and therefore give them a special status. There reviews feature very highly in the lists and also they have more influence on the rating of other opinions as their rating carries more influence than that of a standard user. Its well worth trying to become an Epinions advisor. I have been an advisor (thepanther) in the computer hardware and software section for a number of months now and its made a big increase in the earnings. 

you can search for items reviews and members, its just had a site upgrade and its looking good, comes personally highly recommended.

Consumer reviews is pretty new at the moment and so is paying a very high rate for writing reviews while it gets up and off the ground. So there has never been a better time to sign up and get writing. 40p per review is the best around but I doubt it will last forever (but you never know) the 5p per member read is also at the top end, on par with Dooyoo. * surprisingly enough the pay rate has now dropped - I said it wouldn't last forever and it hasn't. But still it puts it back inline with Dooyoo and CIAO for the pay rate per opinion.

The site is pretty basic though very text based and with lack of features such as Advisors and friends etc. Rating and comments are present though so its still pretty productive at getting rid of the really bad reviews. If you like computers though this is the site for you as all the reviews are about computer hardware, software and peripherals.
