Tag (HTML) |
A piece of code that gives instructions such
as formatting and structure of a HTML page - HTML
tags set things such as font sizes, table layouts and hyperlinks. |

Tile Based Rendering - A method of
rendering objects by taking each part of an object and splitting
it into tiles and rendering them separately. The
idea is to increase image quality. |

Throughput |
The amount of data that can be transferred in
a certain amount of time - Devices such as Hard Drives and
Networks use throughput as a measure of there capabilities.
Throughput is measured in Kbps, Mbps
and Gbps |

T&L |
Transform and Lighting - More accurately
Transform, Clipping and Lighting. A relatively new process added to
Graphics cards, where by the card can handle 3D objects in a moving
3D environment and calculate what the shape appears like, where the
light source comes from and how it shows on the objects. Also it
determines what does not need to be drawn on the screen and Clips
them. |
