Surface Removal |
A process used in graphics cards (namely the
Kyro II) which decides whether an object is going to be visible
before deciding whether or not to render it. This operation

HMA |
High Memory Area - Extended area of a PC's

Host |
A single computer that is connected to a

Hot spot |
A designated area on a web page that
contains a hyperlink to another part of the WWW. |

HRAA |
High resolution Anti-Aliasing - Nvidia's
idea of HRAA is not to blow up the 800x600 screen resolution then
shrink it again to anti-alias the screen, but to to use a method
called Quincunx AA, which checks the pixels in he surrounding area
and then decides how to smooth out the jagged edges. the main
point o Nvidia's technology is that you can have 4X AA for the
