A sleek silver design is at the heart of this LCD monitor from Philips. The 170S6FS/05 offers you a very attractive monitor with some great features like an internal power supply so no more external power supply adapter to have to deal with and hide away. The PHL170S6FS is not power hungry only drawing on approximately 30w of power when in use. Also this Philips LCD monitor comes with a neat Flexi holder at the top of the screen which will hold your important notes and cards. Not an essential feature you may think, but its always nice to have something cool just for the sake of it.

A 12ms response time is more than an acceptable performance statistic for an LCD monitor. The response time is the measured time it takes for a pixel to go from black to white and back to black again. The faster the speed the lower the response time. lower response times reduce any potential lag in display changes which can leave artefacts on the screen for a very short period of time.

This LCD monitor comes with a analogue VGA connector for connections to standard VGA graphics cards. This monitor will not connect to a DVI port without the use of a separate VGA to DVI adapter.
