So you fancy playing detective? Well what better place than with the cast of the hugely popular modern TV detective series CSI : Crime Scene Investigation. Your role is to solve 5 cases by gathering evidence and interrogating suspects, questioning witnesses and using your own powers of deduction and puzzle solving. The full cast is there should you need any help and fans of the TV series will love that the real voices of the cast are used when you interact with the rest of your team. Do you have what it takes to become the best detective.

You can use many methods to gather your evidence from the basics of collecting fingerprints and talking to witnesses to using the most modern forensic techniques which have been used in the TV series. ultra violet scanning, swabbing for fluids, DNA matching from strands of hair. You choose which evidence is the key and which way to turn for your next lead.

When you are on the right track you will experience a number of cut scenes showing you part of what happened. Again fans of the TV series will feel this is exactly like what happens while watching an episode. Once you uncover a key part of the crime you will see how that piece fits into the story. Whether or not the people you see are the killers or not is entirely up to you.

The length of the game is not exactly epic, but it will take you about an hour for each of the five cases. Meaning if you complete each mission fairly efficiently it will take you about 5 hours. This doesn't seem like a worth while game but I would look at it like buying a DVD of 5 episodes as the price of this game is set at around £14.99 which does make the value of the game a little better. Overall, anyone can get a bit of fun out of this game, but real fans of the series will likely be the true buyers of the game as the real cast in the game makes for a novel experience.
