Black and white was a revolution when it was released those few years ago. It presented gamers with an entirely new idea behind strategic gaming. Choosing between good and evil you chose to rule your people either by helping them to achieve their goals or frightening them into doing your bidding. As you would expect the basic idea's behind the sequel are the same. You choose your mighty and godly stance either good and evil and set your rule over the people below. Black and White 2 however take the good and evil stance a little bit deeper. In this second instalment the choice are more like God of peace and God of war. As a God of peace you will watching over your villagers as they create a wonderful city. Happily going about their business, farming building and worshiping. Great cities will attract more people to it and give you greater worship, which it turn gives you greater power. On the flip side of the coin as a god of war, you will will conscript great armies to take over cities by force. Striking fear into your subjects and destroying those who choose not to follow you as their God. Your time will not be taken up too much with creation as you will attempt to control that which others have built. Like the original game in Black and White 2 you will have control over a large animal of your choosing. These animals will either help your villagers to build, harvest and entertain or will be the commanders of your large armies and deal punishment and destruction. The choices are yours, which is the best way to rule. If your were God what would you do? (Click pics to enlarge)
