Devil May Cry looks like it will put this series of games back on track. Devils may cry 2 was somewhat different to the first and a little disappointing. The style change was too great to make the game work. Devil May Cry 3 does introduce new features but goes back towards the style of the first game, Players of the first two games will know what I mean. Equally though new players of Devil May Cry can still enjoy everything out of this game.

Devil May cry is a prequel, it seems to be a trend in the movies and now the games market is taking hold of the idea. Devil May Cry 3 goes before the original game to take you to a time when Dante and his brother fought an epic battle of good verses evil. As the game progresses you will learn more of Dante's past and know in more depth his character.

New additions to the game include the style feature. Players will be able to switch Dante's playing style to suit different enemies or simply to suit the individual player. You can utilize the trickster, gunslinger or sword master styles each has there own advantages and each has extra moves that you can upgrade to.

Trickster - The Trickster style is an evasive style used for agile combat techniques. Hit and run with this style, strike accurately strike quickly then retreat to a safe distance. You can use air hike to jump up walls and dash for extra speed while in this mode.

Gunslinger - Gunslinger allows for a better long range attacking style. Extra moves in this style are Fireworks to spin your guns around while firing, Twosome Time to shoot in two directions at once and Rain storm, jump up and rain down a shower of bullets on your enemy.

Sword Master - Perfect for the close range fighting style, for those who prefer the art of the sword. Extra moves within this style are Aerial Rave, a repeated Ariel attack launched in mid air. Sword Pierce, launce your sword at the enemy and skewer them to the wall. Prop Shredder, Spin round while wielding your sword to slash the enemies to pieces.
