Unreal 2 is an intense gaming experience that immerses players in an epic story-driven adventure featuring superb graphics. As a Terran Colonial Authority Marshall, you're patrolling a sector of the frontier with three crew members when an interstellar war erupts about you! Rumours of powerful and ancient alien artefacts have driven rival factions to war in an attempt to find and control the objects. You must locate these artefacts, determine their purpose and restore order to the sector - before it's too late.

Another leap in First person shooters, Unreal 2 : The Awakening offers greater AI power and stunning graphics (screen shots below). The Unreal engine is very hi-tech and probably the best one that's out at the moment, better than UT2003. The game requires slightly higher specs than that of UT2003 but it is far more advanced and better to look at, Unreal 2 is a stunning visual game.

Unreal 2 is a single player only game, a lot of time has been put into the gameplay and the storyline as well as the cinematic cut-scenes to help bring the story to life. For multiplayer users you will want to be looking at UT2003.
