Editing your Website on the go
Everyone isn't into website creation or even single web pages but for those of us that are we haven't been left out of the portable scene. You can take your website on the move and edit it at any workstation you can log onto.
Some of us working on the move will be involved in some sort of website or webpage editing or maintaining. We haven't been forgotten in the portable software market. If web design is your primary function then its likely that you have your software installed on every computer you use and some synchronising software. Don't dismiss this portable software however, for example you may be a workstation that you haven't used before or simply passing some time at a computer that you don't normally work at. Providing you keep a synchronised copy of your website on your USB Flash Drive you will be able to edit it from anywhere.
Portable NVU is a good application for editing websites, it resembles FrontPage, not as powerful or deep as it has to be a portable application, but it is a great way to make changes to web pages or make quick adjustments at the moment you think of them before you get to your main website editing software.

Portable NVU can be downloaded here.
Portable NVU is free and is a very good application. Like Microsoft Front page you can edit your web pages in either WYSIWYG graphical mode or pure HTML source editing. Plus there is a preview mode to see how your page will look on a web browser. There is also full support for CSS editing, the most up to date web styling methods.
