Portable
E-Mail Client
Browsing is one thing on its own, but you don't have to stop there. You have take your whole internet experience with you on the move. Mozilla again comes to your aid with an E-Mail client called Thunderbird.
If you liked the idea of the portable internet browser, then you probably do a lot of work or research on the internet. With that in mind then maybe the internet browser alone may not be sufficient for your needs. Well not to fear as you can also get very useful add-ons for portable Firefox. Firstly you will want to take your e-mails with you and be able to collect e-mails from many computers without having to setup up your accounts over and over again. Plus you will be able to take the e-mails that you receive back home with you.
The add-on for Portable Firefox is called Thunderbird, well more specifically portable Thunderbird. You can download portable thunderbird e-mail client here.

Once installed on your USB Flash Drive you can launch the e-mail program by going into the Thunderbird folder and double clicking on PortableThunderbird.exe. Thunderbird will ask you to set up you e-mail accounts. Now if you already have e-mail on your main PC, you can import your mail, your e-mail accounts and settings, or all of them. Simply go to the Tools menu and go to Import. Click on the e-mail client you wish to import from and let Thunderbird do the rest.
You can now collect your e-mail from all or selected accounts which ever computer you are at, providing it has internet access of course. It has helped me a lot in the passed, being at a friends house and needing to collect some business e-mail. I simply insert my USB Flash Drive and load Thunderbird. My e-mails are stored on the Flash drive and not on the main computer. Nothing you do is left behind on the other computer.
